BAKO NATIONAL PARK

hi everyone,
its quite a while i didnt post any new stories of me... bila dah tengok gambar kera kat bawah ni, jgn ingat pulak ingat i bela k... it's actually a herd of Wild tame monkey's in Bako NP.. memang it feels weird becoz haiwan2 kat sini actually moves around freely kat park office, n they dont bother about us though.. yang ada few species of monkeys and Bearded Bornean Wildboar.... they just kacau if we tengah makan kat canteen (the monkeys)... haiwan2 yang lain, banyak kat dlm hutan dan di tepi pantai... i was there for 3 days n 2 nites... and hari-hari i mandi laut...
How to get to Bako?
firstly, from Kuching town, u have to get to the Bako Village, which is about 30 to 40 minutes drive. At the jetty, u have to pay for the entrance fee (RM10 per adult) to the National Park Office and pay for a boat trip to the park (RM9 per person of more that 5 per boat)... once you r in the park, u r bound to few rules, n one of them is do not feed the animals... this a serious matter, coz u dont want to be their cousin lepas bagi makan... kena serang oleh family kera...
3 days n each day, few hours swimming at the ocean... pantai dan laut nya bersih sgt.. n now, i'm a bit tanned la... hehehe kulit dah gelap sikit.. nasib baik tak melecet... 2nd day, i g hiking to pantai pandan kecil.. and the hiking trip wasnt that hard ler..

lepas mandi kat pantai pandan kecil, i took a boat back to park office.. then pass by the "ular tedung" formation of a sea arch..

Bako NP protects an unspoilt promontory between the mouths of the Sungai Sarawak and Batang Bako. It's a beautiful spot where rocky headlands are indented with clean beaches. Bako is most famous for its wildlife, including the rare proboscis monkey. you can look trough the internet if u want to know more...

so, for anyone who wishes to go there, if u need a guide, bring me along k and a large vats of mosquito repellent is a must... sunblock juak jgn lupak... bebelang lak badan deng..
